Job summary

Singapore National Eye Centre is seeking a statistician to provide statistical expertise across design, execution, analysis, and reporting of research studies and clinical programmes. This role collaborates with clinicians, epidemiologists, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure scientifically robust analyses that support decision-making.

You will develop, interpret, and document statistical outputs using R, SAS, Stata, SPSS, or Python to support clinical research and healthcare outcomes

Qualifications

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Health Policy, Computer Science, Biomedical Science or related field
• Proficient in statistical programming using software such as R, SAS, Stata, SPSS, or Python
• Experience in statistical analysis, study design data interpretation and database management processes
• Prior experience in clinical research, healthcare analytics, or hospital settings and knowledge of health economic modelling, machine learning or bioinformatics advantageous
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to translate complex statistical findings into clear insights
• Well-organised, detail-oriented, able to work independently or in a multidisciplinary team
