Job summary

The National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) in Singapore seeks a Senior Engineer to manage biomedical equipment lifecycle, ensure safety, reliability and availability for clinical use. Qualifications

• Degree holder in Biomedical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong experience in business operations and project management in large establishment or healthcare.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Independent, resourceful, and able to work with external vendors and operators.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate constructively with stakeholders across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Commission biomedical equipment and systems to verify safety and performance.
• Troubleshoot and rectify equipment malfunctions.
• Coordinate in-house maintenance activities, records, reports, and data analytics.
• Prepare, submit and present investigation reports to management.
• Liaise with stakeholders to develop specifications, evaluate tenders, and negotiate equipment purchases.
• Coordinate renovation, relocation, and infrastructure enhancement projects.
• Work with Facilities Services on security, telecom and environmental services.
• Assist supervisor in coordinating service, maintenance contracts and staff assignments.
• Participate in cluster-level projects and update policies and procedures.
