Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking an experienced software professional in Singapore to lead technical studies, document designs, and develop scalable solutions. You will ensure CI/CD artefacts are incorporated, review code, and coach the team on best practices.

You will work with data infra experts and business analysts, monitor risks, and collaborate with project managers to deliver robust software and testing strategies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development.
• 5+ years in Java/J2EE development.
• Hands-on data ingest and processing (Spark streaming).
• Hands-on messaging systems (Kafka, Flume, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Parquet).
• Build tools and test-driven development (Maven, Jenkins, JUnit).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical study integrating infrastructure, big data, and business requirements.
• Document proposed design and develop the solution.
• Ensure CI/CD artefacts are part of the solution.
• Perform code reviews and coach team on best practices.
• Interface with project managers and provide regular reporting.
• Monitor technical risk and elevate to management.
• Research, design, and develop software.
• Analyse user needs and translate into software solutions.
• Update software and enhance capabilities; direct testing and validation.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate hardware and software systems.
