Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in big data engineering.
• Proficient with Big data platforms: HDFS, Trino, S3.
• Experience with Python programming.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and code vulnerabilities.
• Experience with SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres).
• Linux shell scripting knowledge.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Git version control.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with multi-tasking and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Drive development projects for big data platforms.
• Understand system and functional requirements and translate to technical implementations.
• Translate business requirements to FSD documentation.
• Adopt best practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and CI.
• Ensure adherence to standards (code, security, performance).
• Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress.
• Take responsibility for risks and issues and drive stakeholders to deliver on time and quality.
• Ensure production stability and timely communication with stakeholders.
