APAR TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Java/J2EE professional with a strong background in Big Data.

The role involves designing and building scalable solutions, contributing to solution architecture, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. You will ensure quality through TDD/BDD practices and participate in production support and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or technical degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related discipline preferred.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Java/J2EE development with strong design and implementation track record.
Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies is preferred.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and end-to-end IT project delivery.
Experience in corporate banking or cash management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Analyse and provide feedback on functional specifications and business requirements.
Design and develop high-quality solutions adhering to defined technical standards.
Provide detailed development estimates and contribute to solution planning.
Develop and test applications using TDD/BDD approaches.
Perform non-functional testing, code reviews and design reviews.
