We are seeking a Senior Business Development Director to spearhead client acquisition and revenue growth within Singapore and the broader ASEAN region. This role will focus on building and expanding relationships with banks, financial institutions, and strategic systems integrator (SI) partners.

The successful candidate will bring deep market knowledge, strong executive-level networks across the financial services sector, and proven experience in selling complex technology solutions such as core banking transformation, cloud migration, data/AI platforms, and digital integration frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business development in Singapore and ASEAN, focusing on Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks, insurers, and financial institutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite decision makers (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Digital/Transformation) and SI/technology partners.
  • Identify, qualify, and close opportunities for large-scale consulting and digital transformation programs.
  • Collaborate with delivery and solution teams to design and present tailored proposals that address client challenges.
  • Own end-to-end sales cycles, from pipeline generation to contract closure, ensuring revenue and margin targets are achieved.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client forums to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Partner with global and regional teams to leverage expertise in cloud, AI/data, digital banking, and DLT solutions.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to identify new growth opportunities.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of business development / sales leadership experience in banking technology, consulting, or system integration.
  • Strong network of contacts within Singapore’s and ASEAN’s financial services sector (banks, insurers, regulators, fintechs).
  • Proven track record of selling and closing multi-million-dollar digital transformation or technology consulting deals.
  • Deep understanding of core banking systems, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), data & AI, and integration frameworks.
  • Previous experience working in a global SI, banking technology provider, or consulting firm strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex deal cycles.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong drive to build market presence and share in Singapore.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent a plus.
