1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB) seeks a VP/AVP, Bancassurance Sales Team Lead to drive insurance sales through retail and wealth channels. You will lead a team of Insurance Specialists, develop sales strategies, and partner with Relationship Managers to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

The role requires 5–8 years of Bancassurance/related experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong knowledge of life insurance and wealth planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required.
5–8 years of Bancassurance, Insurance, Wealth Management, or Financial Advisory experience.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding insurance sales targets.
Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams.
Strong knowledge of life insurance and wealth planning solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management and regulatory/compliance awareness.
Results-oriented and customer-centric in a dynamic sales environment.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and motivate Bancassurance Specialists to meet/exceed sales targets.
Build partnerships with internal stakeholders and insurance partners for growth.
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase insurance penetration and referrals.
Monitor pipelines, productivity, and performance metrics with coaching guidance.
Provide holistic protection, wealth, and retirement planning solutions.
Ensure regulatory, compliance, and bank governance adherence.
Leverage data analytics and CRM to enhance sales effectiveness and customer experience.
Foster a high-performance culture through talent development and coaching.
