Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Baker to lead day-to-day baking operations at our Central Kitchen. If you have a passion for pastry arts, a strong eye for detail, and a flair for mentoring others, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities

Baking & Pastry Production

  • Prepare a variety of cakes, pastries, and desserts, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
  • Follow established recipes while maintaining accuracy in ingredient measurements and baking techniques
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures for optimal results
  • Contribute ideas for new menu items and recipe improvements

Kitchen Operations & Inventory

  • Manage daily kitchen workflow, production schedules, and team task allocation
  • Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
  • Monitor ingredient inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients

Team Supervision & Collaboration

  • Guide and mentor junior bakers and kitchen staff
  • Support customer satisfaction by ensuring baked goods meet visual and taste expectations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill special orders or catering needs

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a high-volume bakery, pastry production kitchen, or retail bakery environment
  • Skilled in cake and pastry production, baking techniques, and basic decoration
  • Strong leadership, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Able to commit 6 days a week, 8.5 hours per day
