Undisclosed is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (TypeScript / Web3) to take end-to-end ownership of our backend systems behind consumer products. You will design APIs, build scalable services, and run data pipelines across Web2 and on-chain components.

You will join a high-caliber team that operates at scale, handling real user traffic, complex datasets, and production incidents. Expect ownership from day one, with strong emphasis on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience building and running production backend systems.
• Strong TypeScript skills and fluency with modern backend frameworks (NestJS, Fastify, Express).
• Solid grounding in API design, service-oriented architecture, and distributed systems.
• Able to design and deliver complex systems with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own backend architecture and implementation across multiple products.
• Design, build, and maintain production APIs and services powering customer-facing applications.
• Build and run distributed systems that stay reliable at high volume.
• Architect for scalability, fault tolerance, and long-term maintainability.
• Build data pipelines, background workers, async processing, and event-driven systems.
• Build and maintain blockchain integrations and indexing systems that ingest, process, and serve on-chain data.
• Bridge Web2 and Web3 infrastructure, connecting conventional backends to blockchain protocols.
• Debug production issues, performance bottlenecks, and scaling problems.
• Build strong observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational tooling.
