Job summary

Airwallex is expanding its stablecoin infrastructure in Singapore. We’re seeking a skilled engineer to architect and build secure, scalable systems that handle key management, transaction signing, and blockchain integration within our FX and payments platform.

You will own services across mint, burn, transfer, and reconciliation, develop internal ledgers across multiple chains, and collaborate with product, infra, and compliance teams to deliver auditable, reliable services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in object-oriented design and production-grade software development.
• Strong experience with at least one strongly typed language (Kotlin, Java, C#, C++, Rust).
• Proven experience building and integrating blockchain infrastructure into financial systems.
• Secure system design with focus on private key handling, signing and encryption.
• Able to adapt to new tools and changing priorities.
• Excellent cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a high-impact engineering team building stablecoin infrastructure from the ground up.
• Design and implement secure systems for key management, transaction signing, gas fee management, and blockchain integration.
• Own services for mint, burn, transfer, and reconciliation of stablecoins.
• Build internal ledgering systems tracking balances across chains and tokens.
• Integrate stablecoin infra into Airwallex FX and payment systems.
• Write, review, and ship production code.
• Collaborate with product, infra, and compliance teams for auditable services.
