Job summary

Airwallex (Singapore) PTE. LTD. is expanding its Financial Markets team to build stablecoin infrastructure and on-chain payments. This role leads architecture and development of secure key management, signing, and cross-chain ledgering across multiple chains and token types.

You'll collaborate with product, infrastructure, and compliance to deliver auditable services and integrate stablecoin workflows with existing FX and payment systems for seamless fiat-stablecoin conversions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in object-oriented design and production-grade software development.
• Strong experience with at least one strongly typed language (e.g. Kotlin, Java, C#, C++, Rust).
• Proven experience building and integrating blockchain infrastructure into financial systems.
• Experience integrating new systems into legacy or distributed environments with minimal disruption.
• Solid understanding of secure key handling, signing, encryption, and operational controls.
• Able to quickly learn new tools/frameworks and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a high-impact team building stablecoin infrastructure from the ground up.
• Design and implement secure systems for key management, transaction signing, gas management, and blockchain integration.
• Own services that manage mint, burn, transfer, and reconciliation of stablecoin transactions.
• Build internal ledgers tracking balances across chains and token types.
• Integrate stablecoin infra with Airwallex’s FX and payment systems for seamless fiat-stablecoin conversions.
• Write, review, and ship production code.
• Collaborate with product, infra, and compliance teams to deliver auditable services.
