Job summary

First Fun is seeking a talented software engineer to join its game systems team in Singapore. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable game-related systems across front-end and back-end services.

You will write high-quality, high-performance code, optimize performance, and collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other developers. Proficiency in Go, C++, Java, Python, or C# is valued, along with a solid foundation in data structures and networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in software development, including data structures and algorithms, databases, computer networks, and operating systems.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Go, C++, Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong interest in software development and the gaming industry.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical issues, proposed solutions, and project progress.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of game-related systems.
• Develop front-end and back-end services, APIs, internal tools and game-platform features.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and high-performance code.
• Optimize system performance and stability and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, game designers, QA engineers and other development teams.
• Participate in code reviews and work effectively with AI tools to continuously improve code quality and engineering efficiency.
• Learn and apply new technologies to solve real-world technical and business challenges.
