Our client is fintech company that offers infrastructure and trading capabilities that enable global financial institutions to access U.S. markets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Join a fast-moving team as a senior backend engineer focused on high-throughput, distributed systems

• Strengthen and scale their core order management engine for performance and reliability

• Optimize transactions per second (TPS) and system efficiency

• Design and implement new features across trading infrastructure

• Expand platform capabilities to support additional asset classes

• Contribute to the development of core trading strategies around retail order flow

• Collaborate directly with the founding team on high-impact technical decisions

• Play a key role in shaping the technical direction and leadership of the engineering team

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience building high-throughput, real-time distributed systems with 99.9%+ uptime

• Proficiency in Golang preferred; Rust, Python, or C++ also considered

• Strong background in asynchronous processing, pub-sub architectures, websockets, and batch systems

• Expertise in database scalability and systems-level performance optimization

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code in AWS (e.g., Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines)

• Product-oriented problem solver with a focus on delivering practical, user-driven solutions

• Background or interest in financial systems such as trading, brokerage, or crypto exchanges

Working Location: Singapore (remote work) / relocation to USA
