Job summary

Mindteck Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer (Back End, C++) on a 1-year contract in Singapore to join the Electrical & Industrial Solutions Group COE and deliver end-to-end software solutions across platforms.

You'll lead architecture design, integrate major components, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery. Strong C/C++ expertise and cross-platform experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in CS/EE/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or software-related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years in product design/development/engineering and product management.
• Proven track record delivering products to customers on schedule.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of electronics basics, board testing tech, IEEE boundary scan and algorithms is a plus.
• Experience in cross-platform software development for Windows, Linux and MacOS.
• Strong object-oriented design and patterns, and measurement libraries.
• Expert in C, C++11/14 development.
• Familiar with Objective-C, Xcode, X11.
• Knowledge of RestAPI, gRPC, microservices and containerization.
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD and tools (VS, TFS, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence).
• Experience migrating legacy software to modern platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design and system integration for board test software.
• Outline end-solution and develop epics, milestones and sprint plans.
• Set technology direction and integrate components into software.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements for development.
• Coordinate with multiple software teams to build common building blocks.
