Job summary

UNISONEDGE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect – AWS Cloud & Infrastructure to lead architecture across enterprise cloud environments in Singapore.

You will translate architectures into scalable, automated implementations using Terraform/CloudFormation, GitLab CI/CD, and container platforms, while guiding security and governance practices. The role requires 7–8 years in cloud architecture, strong AWS expertise, and excellent communication to collaborate with engineers,

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of experience in cloud architecture and cloud engineering.
• Proficient with AWS services: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.
• Strong networking knowledge: VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect.
• Experience with CI/CD and IaC tools (GitLab, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Automation/scripting: Python, Ansible, Bash/PowerShell.
• Container deployments and Kubernetes lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native architectures for enterprise workloads.
• Define and maintain cloud reference architectures, reusable patterns and engineering standards.
• Review solution architectures for scalability, reliability, performance, security and cost.
• Drive adoption of AWS best practices across projects and platforms.
• Partner with enterprise architects and stakeholders to align technology with business needs.
• Support cloud transformation, migration and modernization initiatives.
• Translate designs into production-ready implementations.
• Design and implement GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Develop automation scripts (Python, Ansible, Bash, PowerShell).
• Implement container-based deployments and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to root cause analyses.
• Participate in preventive and corrective actions.
