Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) is seeking a senior in-house lawyer to support the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). The role covers advising on legislation, regulatory frameworks, procurement contracts and land matters linked to airport development, as well as regulatory enforcement and international aviation coordination.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer under the Legal Profession Act 1966.
• Strong analytical, legal research and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse range of legal matters in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Advise on development and amendment of legislation and regulatory frameworks relevant to CAAS.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and legal documents including procurement agreements.
• Advise on land and property matters related to airport development.
• Support regulatory, enforcement and prosecution matters and related investigations.
• Provide advice on international and cross-border aviation agreements and regulatory coordination.
• Offer risk management and governance guidance for CAAS operations.
