Job summary

sggovterp in Singapore is seeking a Principal / Senior / Executive Cybersecurity Engineer for AV cybersecurity to help build the assurance regime as autonomous vehicles deploy on public roads.

You will drive the development of CSMS requirements, assess submissions against TARA and ISO/SAE 21434, define secure OTA updates, monitor threats, and maintain policies and playbooks while engaging with local and international partners.

Qualifications

• Knowledge preferably in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Ability to reason about threats, risk and safety trade-offs.
• Interest in vehicle regulations and standards like R155/R156.
• Clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to grow into AV cybersecurity and mentor others.
• Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards and governance.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of the regulatory framework for AVs and CSMS.
• Assess cybersecurity submissions using TARA and ISO/SAE 21434.
• Define secure OTA software update expectations and supply chain risk.
• Establish monitoring, detection and incident response requirements.
• Maintain policies, standards and playbooks; engage with partners.
• Work on the CAM DevSecOps scope: secure SDLC and CI/CD.
• Lead security architecture reviews and risk assessments.
• Support security reviews of application code and architecture.
• Set up automated security testing in delivery pipelines.
• Assist breach detection and incident response for CAM products.
• Grow the function, mentor engineers and guide tooling decisions.
