Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to lead test planning, design, and scripting for web applications. You will automate recurring tests, troubleshoot discrepancies, and support system testing across simple to complex implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT.
• 5 years of manual and automation testing on web applications.
• Proficient in test automation development using Tosca, Java, Selenium, REST-Assured, JMeter.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban.
• Ability to transform manual test cases into modular automated tests.
• Know-how with Java, Github, Gitlab, SOAP, REST API is a plus.
• Test automation experience on Selenium, Tosca, Robot Framework.
• Strong understanding of Banking domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts; automate recurring tests and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Support planning, design, and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations.
• Ensure all deliverables (feature files, test results, automated scripts) are submitted timely and reviewed by the test lead.
• Work with the test lead to devise test strategies and ensure implementation as per plan.
• Escalate domain, application, functional and technical issues to the test lead for guidance.
