Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure timely vehicle repairs, and supervise technicians and support staff.

You will handle customer inquiries, manage inventory with parts suppliers, enforce safety standards, aid in staff training, and prepare performance reports for budgeting. Note: the site is currently in Ubi and will move to Loyang in November/December; work Mon-Fri 9am-6pm and Sat 9am-3pm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive workshop management or related role.
• Good technical knowledge of vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily workshop operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely repairs.
• Supervise technicians and support staff.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with parts suppliers to maintain stock levels.
• Implement safety standards and ensure policy compliance.
• Support training and development of workshop staff.
• Prepare reports on workshop performance and assist budgeting.
