About the Opportunity
The financial industry has substantially transformed digital technology services to extend global financial market access, personalize customer experience and drive operational efficiencies. These transformation journeys have led to heightened technology resilience and cybersecurity risks at a time when greater technology assurance is sought.
As a Technology & Cyber Risk Senior Associate with Financial Services Assurance, you will perform one or more of the following services:
• Assess the design adequacy and operating effectiveness of technology control measures for financial institutions, based on sound risk practices in technology governance, system resilience, cybersecurity and third-party management.
• Develop an understanding of business processes, review system control measures and deploy technical capabilities such as data analytics and source code review to identify systemic and thematic risks with technology general and application controls.
• Advise Financial Institutions on technology risk matters, including technology governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, IT resilience, business continuity, cybersecurity, data protection and training.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Lead technology audits and other industry assessments to develop the technology risk profiles of financial institution clients.
• Have a working knowledge in technology and possess strong project management, analytical and team collaboration skills. Integrity and professionalism are essential in our course of work;
• Conduct presentations in a client-facing environment.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments in technology.
• Mentor and support team members in their professional growth and development.
Expected Qualifications
• Proven track record in leading client review engagements, including planning, execution and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CISA and CISSP are preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology audits or assessments.
• Familiar with MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines, NIST, COBIT, ISO2700X or ITIL.
