Senior Associate, Marketing & Communications (1-year contract)

Job description: Job Summary

SGX Group is seeking a highly motivated and driven marketer to join the Marketing & Communications team for a maternity cover role. As a key contributor, you will support SGX Group’s business units in formulating and executing integrated marketing campaigns and events aligned with corporate and business strategies.

• Conceptualise, devise and implement marketing plan for the assigned markets, covering campaigns, industry events and conferences, and digital initiatives.
• Support business objectives and drive leads by incorporating print, email, events, digital, social, and video in marketing plans and execution.
• Develop high-quality social media posts using visuals, videos and copy, driving desired actions such as registrations and leads.
• Manage our SGX Cares Instagram Channel according to our content strategy, overseeing post cadence, calendar, tone of voice, follower growth, and governance.
• Address and troubleshoot operational issues in email marketing.
• Provide marketing counsel to internal colleagues while working alongside stakeholders to achieve set targets.
• Take a hands-on approach when working with vendors, agencies, and internal stakeholders.

• Degree holder in Marketing, Communications or a relevant field of study with minimum 3-5 years of experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English is required, with Mandarin an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and autonomously with strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and a ‘can-do’ attitude; operates with a sense of urgency and demonstrates attention to detail.
• Experience in interacting with senior management and managing different stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work before and/or after office hours during events.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Digitally savvy and an active user of digital applications and social media
