The Senior Associate HR Data and Digital Specialist is a seasoned subject matter expert responsible for supporting operational setups within an HR organization and providing data insights to the broader organization.

This role works closely with cross-functional colleagues such as Finance and IT, focusing on supporting and maintaining HR data and digital platforms through data quality, system alignment, and reporting requirements.

What you'll be doing

Job Description Summary

The HR Data and Digital Specialist is responsible for supporting HR operations through data management and insights, working closely with various departments to ensure data integrity and system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure data integrity, test system changes, write reports, and analyze data flows. Extract and collate data, and maintain reports using appropriate reporting tools.
  • Load data into systems and drive data governance initiatives.
  • Maintain accessibility, retrievability, security, and protection of data in accordance with information handling procedures.
  • Perform routine HRIS activities, support upgrades, patches, fixes, testing, and technical projects.
  • Assist with testing and resolving system queries within service level agreements, and maintain HRIS and related systems.
  • Conduct system administration checks to ensure smooth operation of platforms.
  • Respond to user queries related to HRIS and gather information to resolve incidents promptly.
  • Create actionable reports and insights to support strategic HR initiatives.
  • Apply data analysis, modeling, and quality assurance techniques to improve data structures.
  • Ensure data availability, integrity, and searchability through formal structures and protection measures.
  • Develop and update reporting and analytics policies to align with industry best practices.
Knowledge and Attributes:
  • Strong understanding of HR data management, sources, architecture, and quality management.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, visualization, and basic statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of HR technology systems like HRIS and digital HR tools.
  • Awareness of emerging digital HR trends and tools.
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and compliance.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or analytics platforms.
  • Basic skills in data visualization and dashboard creation.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying data insights.
  • Attention to detail and collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to stay updated on HR data management trends.
  • Proactive in resolving data challenges.
  • Understanding of HR processes, eligibility, and enrollment rules.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data & Analytics, or related field.
  • Workday Administrator Accreditation (highly beneficial).
  • Relevant data/analytics certifications preferred.
Required Experience:
  • Experience in data reporting and visualization.
  • Experience with HR technology systems and digital tools supporting HR teams.
