We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team asSenior Associate, Fund Accounting (Private Equity). This is a full-time and permanent position based in Singapore.
Key responsibilities:
Be the primary client service contact for assigned portfolio. Monitor and respond promptly to client requests. Strengthen client relationships.
Reviewing financial statements, management accounts and accounting packages
Reviewing Capital Account Statements, capital call and distribution notices
Main point of contact on a day-to-day basis for operational matters and critical issues to be addressed
Understanding of Fund documents such as partnership agreements and shareholder agreements for existing and new funds
Working closely with internal teams (i.e. Treasury, Investor Services and Corporate Secretarial) to ensure overall client operations run smoothly
Assisting with fund launch process for new and existing clients
Coordinating and dealing with Fund investors on specific reporting requirements
Undertake general administration and special projects as assigned by Management
Key requirements:
Degree in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent
3 years of accounting / auditing experience
Sound knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS/US GAAP
Solid understanding of operational functions including Private Equity Fund Structures, Fund Accounting, capital calls and distributions
Effective client relationship management and teamworking skills
Analytical, independent and resourceful
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
Familiarity with Investran accounting system will be viewed favourably
