Job summary

Singtel in Singapore is looking for a leader to supervise Fiber Testing and Provisioning teams. The role involves ensuring safety compliance, managing projects, and updating supervisors on assignments.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications and has 3 years of experience. Candidates should be available during non-office hours and be team-oriented.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Project Management and/or fibre testing.
• Able to work during non-office hours and be on 24 x 7 standby alert.
• Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team to perform Fiber Testing and Provisioning.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures according to WHSA.
• Progressively update direct supervisor on daily work assignments.

Make an Impact by:

• Lead and supervise a team to perform Fiber Testing, Fibre Provisioning and Fiber Rectification
• Ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with established operational procedures and engineering guidelines.
• Ensure contractors adhere to safety procedures in compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act (WHSA) and use the appropriate safety equipment.
• Supervise projects as assigned by manager, working with different stakeholders by providing direction and support
• Will be required to be activated after office hours when necessary to manage escalation and fibre outage
• Progressively update direct supervisor on daily work assignment and update relevant documentation.

Skills for Success:

• Diploma in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or in relevant field.
• With 3 years of experience in Project Management and/or fibre testing
• Able to work during non-office hours on an occasional basis and be on 24 x 7 hours standby alert for ad hoc faults.
• Good working knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player.
