A leading financial consulting firm in Singapore is looking for a Senior Associate / Asst Finance Manager. The candidate will engage in accounting and reporting functions, manage financial closing processes, and collaborate with various stakeholders. This role offers valuable business partnering opportunities across APAC. Ideal applicants should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in accountancy or a professional qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze financial reporting packs prepared by outsourced service providers.
  • Provide monthly profit and loss and balance sheet analysis.
  • Manage month-end closing processes and reconciliations.
  • Handle full sets of financials for property and investment holding entities.
  • Update cash flow and loan schedules; prepare loan repayments.
  • Collaborate with business units, investors, and external parties.
  • Review quarterly GST returns and half-yearly forecasts.
  • Work closely with external auditors and tax agents.

Overview

An established PERE seeking for a Senior Associate / Asst Finance Manager to join their team focuses on Accounting & Reporting, and Statutory and Compliance. This role provides business partnering exposure, and travel opportunity across APAC.

  • Review and analyze financial reporting packs prepared by outsourced service providers.
  • Provide monthly profit and loss, as well as balance sheet analysis and commentaries.
  • Manage timely month-end closing processes and reconciliations for revenue, expenses, accounts payable/receivable, and intercompany transactions.
  • Handle full sets of financials for property and investment holding entities.
  • Update cash flow and loan schedules; prepare loan repayments and related journal entries.
  • Collaborate with business units, overseas counterparts, investors, and external parties (trustees, tax agents, etc.).
  • Review quarterly GST returns and half-yearly forecasts.
  • Work closely with external auditors for annual audits and with tax agents for tax compliance matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a recognized professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA).
  • Min. 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
