A leading company in airport management seeks a Senior Associate/Assistant Manager for Aerodrome Safety. Senior Associate/ Assistant Manager, Aerodrome Safety (Workplace Safety & Health)
Description:
As a member of the corporate safety office, you will be responsible for effective implementation and maintenance of the safety management system to achieve a high level of workplace safety and health (WSH) performance. You will provide advice and support to WSH stakeholders, guide CAG divisions to fulfil their WSH stakeholder’s roles, conduct internal WSH audits / inspections, respond to site to investigate major WSH occurrences and recommend corrective / preventive actions. You will also organise WSH committee meetings and undertake safety promotion efforts within the organisation and wider airport community.
In addition, any one of the following experience or knowledge would be advantageous:
Implementation of WSH risk management;
Human factors principles;
Safety investigations; and
Lead auditor / auditor qualifications (e.g. ISO9001, ISO45001, etc).
Requirements:
Degree, preferably in occupational safety and health or related fields;
MOM-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with working experience in the airport environment preferred;
Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience as a WSHO;
Familiar with local regulatory requirements related to WSH;
Excellent interpersonal and good people management skills;
Self-motivated, strong ability to exercise initiative, multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to plan and execute safety promotion events and activities;
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); and
