Job summary

Our Client, a boutique accounting firm, seeks a Senior Associate to manage accounting and audit work for multiple clients. You will prepare full or partial sets of accounts and ensure timely monthly reporting.

  • Effective communication skills for internal collaboration and client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare full or partial sets of accounts for multiple clients to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Perform bookkeeping and maintain precise accounting records to support financial integrity
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports to provide timely insights to clients
  • Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations to verify account accuracy and completeness
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions to maintain up-to-date financial data
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely financial closure
  • Liaise with clients on accounting matters and documentation to resolve queries and maintain strong relationships
  • Support audit activities including audit planning and tax preparation to facilitate compliance and reporting
  • Apply knowledge of MAS reporting requirements and relevant accounting standards to ensure statutory compliance
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support client and firm needs

Our Client, a boutique accounting firm, is an Accredited Training Organization (ATO certified) seeking a Senior Associate with relevant accounting and audit experience to be able to prepare full sets of accounts and be in charge of a handful of audit assignments for our clients. Our ideal candidate is someone who can operate independently and be able to meet client deadlines as they will be operating on tight schedules to prepare their monthly reports.

Job Summary

The Senior Associate, Accounting & Audit supports accounting, audit, and finance functions for multiple clients by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance, and managing client deadlines independently.
