Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Assistant Project Manager to drive facilities development projects in the healthcare sector. You will govern projects, coordinate M&E work, and manage consultants and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate holds an Engineering degree with at least 5 years’ PM and M&E experience in healthcare, and will liaise with stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant infrastructure at hospital sites in the West of Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Develop project governance policies and processes to enable consistency in the delivery of infrastructure projects in the cluster.
• Develop technical standards for cluster infra projects and ensure standardisation and alignment with overall hospital’s infrastructure and design in the projects.
• Engage users to carry out feasibility studies for hospital rejuvenation projects.
• Lead the design development of projects.
• Procurement of consultancy and construction packages for the implementation of the projects.
• Review and approve project schedules, method statements, material submissions and permits to work during construction stage.
• Oversee and manage consultants and contractors in the delivery of their services in accordance with their contract terms.
• Prepare cost estimates, scope of work and Bill of Quantities.
• Prepare minutes of meetings, reports, and presentation materials.
• Adhoc duties and projects in support of mission.
• Lead and execute Special Projects or tasks as directed by RO.

Job Description

Project Management

Mechanical and Electrical Support

• Provide support to the team in the preparation of project related tender documents (including specifications, cost estimates, scope of work, BOQ, etc.) and the review and evaluation of variations and/or contractual claims, where required.
• Review and sign-off projects related documents.
• Oversee consultants, site staff and contractors in implementation, inspection, and testing and commissioning of M&E systems in renovation projects.
• Coordinate and collaborate with various stake holders such as Project Manager, Project Owner, Facilities Management, etc.

Job Requirements

Min Degree in Engineering or similar w min 5 years of relevant project management & M&E experience, preferably in healthcare sector
