Job description

  • Responsible for liaising with Production, Customers, Stock Control, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping, and Freight Forwarders to monitor, prioritise, and expedite all outstanding critical or urgent aircraft materials required for the project.
  • Perform analysis of all outstanding material requisitions and process back orders.
  • Responsible for generating and distributing daily outstanding material status reports to all relevant parties.
  • Maintain proper process flow through coordination between customers, departments, and freight forwarders to ensure the on-time supply of all material requisitions during aircraft maintenance checks.
  • Liaise with Production and Customers to resolve long lead-time material demands.
  • Ensure appropriate approval from Customers or Management prior to spare parts procurement and verify the Customer's ERP system for stock availability.
  • Attend production meetings and identify spare parts that could potentially impact the aircraft re-delivery schedule, cause work stoppages, or disrupt production schedules.
  • Support customer requests for material assistance and other reports when assigned.
  • Perform ad hoc material and operational tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to handle challenging customers and resolve tense situations.
  • Able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.
  • Five working days, with additional scheduled support on alternating Saturdays and Sundays.
