Job description

SingHealth Experimental Medicine Centre (SEMC) operates several core facilities for translational research in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre and manages a national facility. As a member of SEMC’s Admin Operations team, you will play a direct role in providing professional administrative and operational support for the smooth running of the Centre.You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in budgeting exercises, administering grant funding and performance reporting. You will be required to maintain and analyse important data and key indicators to support various strategic activities, such as preparation of workplans and funding applications.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of research protocols, project budgeting, and service agreements, as well as providing overall project coordination support.

Job Requirement

  • Degree in Biomedical Science or a related discipline, preferably with 4 years of experience in biomedical research, research administration, finance and operations
  • Knowledge of basic research skills, biosafety practices, and familiarity with laboratory design and requirements would be advantageous
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
  • Self-motivated and resourceful individual with the ability to manage assignments independently
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect and engage at all levels
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
