Job description

The Restructuring and Insolvency Senior/Assistant Manager conducts market research and financial analyses. He/She participates in business development and stakeholder interactions and manages the restructuring and insolvency processes for the client engagements that he/she is responsible for. Adherence to standards of ethics and maintain quality assurance in processes is expected of the role.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse historical financial performance and perform cash flows analyses
  • Conduct and review financial analyses, financial statements review and assess business performance
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders in complex liquidations and restructurings
  • Generate ideas and solutions as well as review proposed recommendations for improving liquidity, credit availability, and creditor return
  • Prepare documents for sales of distressed assets
  • Research and provide recommendations on simplifying legal entity structures of clients
  • Prepare correspondence to clients with creditors during restructuring or insolvency
  • Manage project and guide the team to execute the judicial management, receivership and liquidation
  • Gather relevant data and information to develop a proposal and/or scheme of arrangement
  • Prepare of business proposals and pitch documents
  • Build internal and external relationships to drive business development strategies
Requirements
  • Background in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or other relevant field
  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring
  • Member of ISCA preferred but not necessary
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
  • Tenacious and willing to learn on the job
