Senior Assistant Manager, Operational Support Services (WSH/Healthcare) LXY

Our client, a well-known company in the healthcare industry, is looking for talent in the position of Senior Assistant Manager, Operational Support Services (WSH).

Responsibilities:

1. Discharge the duties of a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in accordance to the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and the WSH Regulations.
2. Develop/implement WSH management system and risk management plans for the workplace.
3. Develop/implement programmes to steer WSH culture, habits and norms of the organisation.
4. Develop WSH training programmes and conduct safety trainings.
5. Provide advice to Management with respect to changes in the Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice and Standards, and make recommendations on any aspects of workplace safety & health and environment protection matters.
6. Carry out WSH inspections and evaluate WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices to identify WSH performance gaps.
7. Facilitate the management of risk in the workplace, recommend, implement actions and review effectiveness of measures to improve WSH performance and control risks.
8. Conduct incident investigations and make recommendations to address the root cause of incidents.
9. Appointed secretariat for WSH committee and Fire Safety to facilitate the operations requirement and maintain compliance to ACOP.
10. Lead to attain accreditation for Bizsafe certification roadmap from Level 3 to Bizsafe Star, ISO45001 and Ensure Safer System (ESS) certification for all sites and HQ.
11. Lead to conduct periodic audits for Bizsafe Star and ISO45001 for all sites and HQ.
12. Assist the department in matters relating to Facilities Management, Hospitality and Facilities Development.
13. Any other duties assigned.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Workplace Safety and Health recognized under Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
2. At least 5 years of relevant WSH working experience.
3. MOM registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer and SCDF registered Fire Safety Manager.
4. Familiarity with Singapore and International WSH Standards and Regulations.
5. Experience in obtaining Bizsafe Star and ISO45001 certification for past/current workplace will be preferred.
6. Experience in the Healthcare industry will be an advantage.
