Job summary

National University Hospital (NUH) invites experienced statisticians to join the NCIS as a Senior Data Analyst. You will support analyses using cancer registry and linked healthcare data to inform population health and cancer outcomes research.

You will manage projects, work with clinicians and data analysts, and deliver reproducible analytic code, analysis-ready datasets and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications and policy discussions.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology or a related quantitative discipline.
• Master’s or PhD degree will be an advantage.
• Strong applied statistical skills including regression modelling, survival analysis and longitudinal data.
• Experience with cancer registry, claims, EMR or other administrative healthcare data is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical analysis plans for population health, survivorship and health economics studies.
• Conduct statistical analyses on registry-linked datasets and healthcare data.
• Prepare, validate and maintain analysis-ready datasets from multiple sources.
• Generate statistical outputs, reports, tables and figures for publications and presentations.
• Prepare statistical sections of manuscripts, reports and grant applications.
• Develop and maintain reproducible analytical code and documentation standards.
• Provide guidance to junior analysts on statistical methods.
• Perform data validation and quality checks and participate in peer reviews.
