You will be part of the management reporting team within Finance focusing on monthly reporting of the organisation. This includes planning, budgeting, and forecasting of financials, and performing reviews to monitor the utilisation of the budget.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the management reporting and involve in the annual budget (operating & capital budgets) exercise that includes coordinating, compiling, and reviewing operating expenditure requirements and justifications submissions by the departments, providing update on the adequacy of budget and variance during the projection exercise.
  • Support departments on operating budget queries, monitor the capital and operating budget expenditure/ utilisation during the monthly / quarterly performance reviews or purchase requisition requests to ensure proper budgetary controls.
  • Assist in timely closure of month-end and year end accounts and be responsible for the submission of monthly/quarterly reports to external agencies. You will also liaise with external and internal auditors for audits, with other HQ departments on workflows and queries, and with external parties to monitor and investigate any discrepancy in report.
  • Work closely with IT on enhancements, perform User Acceptance testing (UAT) and be involved in system implementation.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by your Reporting Officer.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/ACCA or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience with SAP system or other ERP system is an added advantage.
  • Possess an analytical and inquisitive mind, good business acumen, and a passion for learning and improvement.
