Office of Data and Analytics (ODA) at the Nanyang Technological University is seeking to fill a number of Senior Assistant Manager (Data and Analytics) positions.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Generate insights from both external and internal data to facilitate evidence-based decision making at all levels of the University.
2. Build databases, develop data analytics, and implement strategies to optimize statistical efficiency.
3. Refine existing processes and define new processes in data collection to support decision-making at all levels of the University.
4. Work in teams of stakeholders across various units.

Job Requirements:

1. Has (or expecting) a PhD degree in the Social Sciences or the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), NOT necessarily in data science or related fields.
2. Has empirical and quantitative skills.
3. Has good coding skills.
4. Has good communication skills.
5. Visualization skills are an added advantage.
