To ensure business continuity, the incumbent will coordinate and/or support the External Operations function to optimise and execute Business Continuity Plans with the support of NUHS institutions (e.g., hospitals, polyclinics, respective Emergency Preparedness (EP) teams), and in collaboration with external stakeholders (e.g., MOH, government agencies, community partners) to handle crises in the event of national/civil emergencies, disease outbreaks, etc.

For real time monitoring and response, the incumbent will be assigned to operational cell groups to coordinate manpower, facilities and equipment to support the management of incidents, including handling feedback/escalations to relevant stakeholders for resolution. As part of EP, the incumbent will partake in drills, table-top exercises and ground deployment exercises.

During peace time, the incumbent will be responsible for operational activities pertaining to resident enrolment and straggler management operations (enrolment and health plan), social prescribing, etc. in support of Healthier SG, Age Well SG or other national/cluster-wide initiatives.

a) Support ground engagement operations:

- Work with ground ambassadors to establish efficient process for ground engagement; monitor feedback and effectiveness and implement daily business improvement

- Support ground ambassadors with operational needs, such as training needs, knowledge management

- Manage and maintain a central dashboard as a source of truth and collective sense-making to visualise operations and efficiency

- Draft and consolidate Policies, Work instructions(Wis), SOPs documenting operational processes and FAQs to facilitate ground work and engagement

c) Support stakeholder management: Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance processes and change management, for example:

- Undertake POC and secretariat role to support HSG PMO

- Participate in ward engagements organised by MOH HSTG or grassroots

As part of emergency and pandemic response planning, you are required to support Assistant Director/Senior Manager in crisis response planning and operations. You will play an active role in :

  • Ensuring timely escalation of incidents and crises through the role of duty officer
  • As part of the RHSO operations command centre, respond to outbreak incidents and exigencies
  • Collation, analysis and monitoring of data and trends to inform operational needs
  • Providing secretariat support to relevant committees and workgroups

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in any discipline, preferably in the Healthcare industry.

• At least 5 – 6 years of working experiences, with at least 2 years in supervisory role.

• Confident and comfortable to work with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

• Possess strong and effective organization skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, both in indoor and outdoor operational environments.

• Meet vaccination requirements mandatory by law to work in Public Health Institutions (PHI).
