Job description

Role

You will be part of a dynamic team to shape and develop the cybersecurity ecosystem in Singapore. Your mission will be to lead in uplifting Singapore’s cybersecurity capabilities through programmes on skills and talent development. You will work with internal and external stakeholders such as the employers, government agencies, institutes of higher learning, industry associations and training providers to drive deep skills training and competency development of the cybersecurity workforce.

Responsibilities

Drive cybersecurity training and competency development programmes for government and industry based on the Cybersecurity Competency Framework and other relevant competency standards

Engage government and external stakeholders to drive initiatives such as professional standards, skills development framework and best-in-class certifications for competency development and career pathways

Collaborate with local and overseas partners to implement Trust 1 of the Singapore Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Masterplan, including the adoption of the OT cybersecurity competency frameworks, contextualising relevant courses and collaboration with international partners.

Support workforce analysis and talent attraction and development to fulfil role as the Functional Leader in cybersecurity within the public sector.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience with relevant tertiary qualification(s) in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or business development

Cybersecurity technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, CCNP, CISA, Cloud certifications) would be preferred

Experience/ certification in cybersecurity training, curriculum design, and skills/competency development will be advantageous

Track record in analysing information, formulating strategies, conceptualising initiatives and driving actions. Experience in projects involving private and public stakeholders will be advantageous.

Can do” spirit and experience in leading a team

Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills, and able to engage senior/middle management and industry stakeholders
