The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, seeks a Senior/Assistant Director to manage CET and graduate education programmes, driving curriculum initiatives and budget planning in collaboration with faculty and external partners.

The role requires strong leadership, programme design experience, and the ability to deliver complex projects within a university healthcare education environment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee Graduate Programmes team operations including design, launch and delivery of CET and graduate coursework programmes.
• Identify adult learning gaps and opportunities for new courses.
• Collaborate with faculty to prepare documentation for approvals by School, University, ministry and regulators; monitor timelines.
• Review opportunities to align, automate, or enhance processes.
• Negotiate MOUs and legal agreements with partner institutions; ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Prepare dashboards of programme financial performance and present data to stakeholders.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to plan and develop budgets for new courses; monitor operating budgets.
• Oversee surpluses of PGC and CET programmes and negotiate cost/revenue sharing.
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) trains doctors who put patients at the centre of their exemplary care. The School, which offers both undergraduate and graduate programmes, is named after local philanthropist Tan Sri Dato Lee Kong Chian. Established in 2010 by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in partnership with Imperial College London, LKCMedicine aims to be a model for innovative medical education and a centre for transformative research. The School’s primary clinical partner is the National Healthcare Group, a leader in public healthcare recognised for the quality of its medical expertise, facilities and teaching. The School is transitioning to an NTU medical school ahead of the 2028 successful conclusion of the NTU-Imperial partnership to set up a Joint Medical School. In August 2024, we welcomed our first intake of the NTU MBBS programme, that has been recently enhanced to include themes like precision medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, with an expanded scope in the medical humanities. Graduates from the five-year undergraduate medical degree programme will have a strong understanding of the scientific basis of medicine, with an emphasis on technology, data science and the humanities.

The Senior/Assistant Director, Postgraduate and Continuing Education Programmes is responsible for managing and administering continuing education and training (CET), and coursework graduate programmes at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The Senior/Assistant Director reports to Director (Education Management) and works closely with Assistant Dean, Graduate Programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of operations of Graduate Programmes team including design, launch, and delivery of continuing education and training, and graduate coursework programmes
• Identify novel adult learning/training gaps and opportunities
• Collarborate with faculty to prepare course/degree proposal documentation for approval by School, University, Ministry (where applicable), Singapore Medical Council (where applicable) and monitor approval timelines
• Review and recommend opportunities for process alignment, automation, or enhancement
• Negotiate MOUs and legal agreements with partner institutionsEnsure administrative compliance with University and government skills training/adult training guidelines
• Prepare dashboard of programmes’ financial performance
• Collate and present official performance data according to stakeholder requirements
• Engage with internal stakeholders to plan and develop budgets for new courses
• Monitor operating budgets for the PGC and CET programmes
• Oversight of operating and accumulated surpluses of PGC and CET programmes
• Negotiate cost and revenue sharing with University and programme partners
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned by reporting officer

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree is preferred
• Background in higher education and/or healthcare administration
• Experience in curriculum design and development
• Excellent organisational, written, and oral communication skills
• Highly collaborative team player, meticulous, resourceful, and adaptable
