Job description

We are seeking a Senior Assistant Director for the Office of Insights and Analytics to serve as our Graph Analytics expert. In this role, you will design and implement data and analytics solutions that drive business value, leveraging advanced analytics techniques, including knowledge graphs and graph algorithms to uncover hidden patterns and relationships in healthcare data. You will be responsible for ensuring the long-term technical viability and optimisation of solutions.

Your role involves participating in outlining the organisation's data vision and analytics strategy, working with stakeholders to define information needs and urgency, and designing pipelines that seamlessly integrate data from source systems into a data management architecture that supports data quality and insight needs of different users. You will develop graph-based approaches to represent and analyse complex healthcare relationships, patient journeys and operational workflows.

Additionally, you will create and establish frameworks, processes, solutions and platforms that enable standardisation, harmonisation and sharing of glossary, metadata and documentation collection of data for analytics. This will drive data literacy growth across the cluster through in-house training, workshops and events. You will also formulate and implement standards, guidelines and best practices for various Generative AI use cases.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Systems Engineering or other relevant quantitative disciplines with 12 years of relevant working experience
  • A Master's degree is an added advantage
  • Working experience in data lake related technologies, building and optimising big data pipelines, building processes supporting data transformation and data analytics
  • Proficient in Databricks, PySpark, Spark-SQL, Kafka, Informatica, Tableau, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Machine Learning, Kubernetes and/or Docker
  • Strong experience with graph databases and analytics platforms (e.g., Neo4j, TigerGraph, AWS Neptune) and graph algorithms for network analysis
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills with a high degree of confidence to communicate with Senior Management
  • Experience in agile ways of working and comfortable conducting Design Thinking workshops
  • Prior consulting and client-facing experience in data analytics is an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving and quantitative computational ability
