Job Descriptions

You will support the Clinical and Administrative Director by leading and managing all administrative and operational functions (manpower pipeline, workplan, budget planning, etc) of the Office of Value Based Healthcare (OVBH). You will participate in VBH strategy development, coordinate and oversee cross functional operations to ensure a high performing team whereby resources are adequately allocated. Together with the managers in the department, you will develop multi-year workplans, drive work plan administration, ensure good progress of all project timelines, identify potential problems and devise contingency plans to minimise implementation delays.

You will be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders within the department / division as well as other stakeholders in the institution / cluster / outside cluster including MOH, collaborate with other functional groups within the hospital to support value improvement in the institution and to support the Directors in driving initiatives that will position SGH as thought leader in VBH.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent, preferably in healthcare related fields. Postgraduate qualifications in fields relevant for value-based healthcare e.g. health economics, healthcare management, implementation sciences, etc, would be an advantage
  • Has a minimum of 12 years’ relevant work experience, with at least 6 years in a supervisory / management capacity. Clinical experience would be an advantage
  • A leader with excellent strategic, interpersonal, communication, coordination, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of biostatistics, statistical tools and data visualisation software is preferred.
  • Experience in quality, process improvement, data analytics, clinical audit, or patient safety are essential.
  • Good stakeholder management and strong interpersonal skills, meticulous and responsible.
  • Effective presentation and organisational skills.
