Job description

What the role is:

You will be part of a dynamic team to shape and develop the cybersecurity ecosystem in Singapore. Your mission will be to support the Director of the CSA Academy in uplifting Singapore’s cybersecurity capabilities through programmes on skills and talent development. You will work with internal and external stakeholders such as employers, government agencies, institutes of higher learning, industry associations, and training providers to drive deep skills training and competency development of the cybersecurity workforce.

What you will be working on:

Responsibilities:
  1. Uplift the technical cybersecurity competency of existing cybersecurity professionals in CSA, the Government, and the Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) sectors via contextualised cybersecurity technical training courses in areas where commercial training is limited.
  2. Enhance CSA and public service officers’ appreciation of CSA and the Government’s cybersecurity functions and deepen their understanding of wider and emerging national cybersecurity issues via the CSA Milestone programmes.
  3. Lead national efforts in cybersecurity competency frameworks that guide professionals in their career pathway, training, and skills development via the review, evaluation, and endorsement of cybersecurity courses and certifications.
  4. Support director in setting and driving CSA academy’s overall vision, mission, and strategic goals.

What we are looking for:

Requirements:
  1. At least 10 years’ experience in cybersecurity and skills/curriculum development teams.
  2. Relevant tertiary qualification in cybersecurity, computer science, or engineering.
  3. Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, CCNP, CISA, Cloud certifications) and training and adult education certifications (e.g., ACLP, ACTA) would be advantageous.
  4. Track record in analysing information, formulating strategies, conceptualising initiatives, and driving actions.
  5. Experience in leading a medium-sized team.
  6. Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills, and able to engage senior/middle management and industry stakeholders.
  7. Ability to multi-task and work within tight timelines.
