Job description

What the role is:

The AD/SAD, Care Policy will work under the oversight of Deputy Director (Medical Policy) to lead the branch’s policy officers and the ACE Nursing Team. The role involves working closely with stakeholders such as the Ministry of Health, Anchor Operators of the primary healthcare system for MWs, and community partners to formulate and implement care policies aimed at safeguarding and improving MWs’ health.

What you will be working on:

Key responsibilities:
  • You will lead the development and implementation of preventive healthcare policies and programmes for migrant workers (MWs), focusing on mental health, dental care, musculoskeletal issues, and chronic disease management. This includes identifying health gaps and designing comprehensive care ecosystems to enhance health awareness and access to healthcare services.
  • You will collaborate closely with stakeholders including the Ministry of Health, Anchor Operators, and community partners to co-create innovative healthcare solutions through evidence-based policy design and implementation. Establishing and maintaining strong partnerships will be essential to ensure effective delivery of healthcare initiatives.
  • A vital part of this role involves leading the monitoring and surveillance of health data through MW surveys, OC KPIs, and self-harm incident tracking. Analyzing health-related data will help improve programme effectiveness and identify new technologies to facilitate early risk detection and promote health-seeking behaviours among MWs.
  • You will oversee the development of professional standards and competencies for the ACE Nursing Team (ANT), working with medical doctors to enhance capabilities in health education, clinical case management, and care coordination for migrant workers with diverse healthcare needs.

What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary education in nursing, pharmacy, allied health, or related healthcare fields.
  • Proven experience in healthcare policy design and project management.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across government ministries and external partners such as NGOs.
