[What the role is]
NEA’s Pollution Control 1 Division (PCD1) administers the Environmental Protection and Management Act (EPMA) and its Regulations to manage and control air, water and noise pollution, and hazardous substances, and toxic industrial waste at industrial and trade premises.
A key role of our division is to respond swiftly to environmental pollution incidents, such as chemical fires and leaks, where we play a crucial role in assessing environmental and public health impacts while coordinating with stakeholders to implement effective mitigation measures. We are seeking suitable candidate(s) who can demonstrate decisive leadership, effective command and control, and strong technical knowledge in our response to these incidents. In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced and volatile environment that requires the ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
