Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. in Singapore seeks a Senior Assembly Process Engineer to design and optimize ultra-clean assembly processes for semiconductor and optical fiber products.

You will transfer new manufacturing methods, ensure strict cleanliness, and drive improvements across productivity, cost, and quality while mentoring the team and coordinating with project teams. Responsibilities include implementing DFMs, overseeing process development, and ensuring RFQ closures with timely updates

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Optical, Materials, Mechanical, Precision Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment, preferably in optical or laser manufacturing cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design process workflows for ultra-clean product assembly in semiconductor environments.
• Transfer and develop new manufacturing processes for series production of assemblies in optical fiber field.
• Implement cleanliness requirements in cleanroom environments and set process specs for stable production.
• Optimize assembly processes to improve productivity, efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Mentor and develop the team to achieve high performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead customer communications during escalations and provide progress updates to management.
• Drive Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles to maximize quality and yield.
