Responsibilities:
Reviewing Documents, ensure feasibility and constructability
- To review, check on consultant's base / concept design.
- To review drawing issued for approval.
- To identify any discrepancies or inconsistencies that may impact construction.
- Review documents such as MOS prepared by sub-contractor & to identify if any clash with other activities.
- Review contract documents on scope of work, when necessary, specifications, contractual obligations.
Preparation of Wall Setting Out Plan/Localised Plan/RFA/RFI/CVI
- To review, check on consultant's base/concept design, projects specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawings.
- To review drawing, sample/materials issued for approval and follow up with site team.
- Monitor work progress at site, plan sub tasks in detail, understand and coordinate architectural, structural and M&E works requirements.
- Responsible for site sequences and requirements, resolve drawings discrepancies.
- Follow up on Audit/Site inspection reports closure.
- Maintain event records.
- Responsible for Greenmark, Universal Design BScore and CScore planning, execution and submission.
- Maintain Risk Register in order to foresee the possibility of occurrence and take corrective actions in conjunction with the Technical Manager/Project Manager.
- To prepare material/method statement/drawing register list, to prepare method Statement, to attend meeting and record minutes of meeting.
Value engineering
- Evaluate alternative systems to reduce construction costs.
- Recommending any cost-effective solution.
- Optimize design & construction process.
Construction Support
- Provide technical support during construction, including responding to contractor inquiries.
- Ensure quality of work is in compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues & implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and all relevant parties to assist site team on complex technical issues.
- Assist in interpreting drawing, specifications to site team & sub-contractors.
- To review & advise on material selection from multiple supplier/subcontractors. To understand further detail and to make some comparison for project team.
- Carry out architectural work scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation.
- Prepare Logistic Planning such as Method Statement, site access planning, construction sequence, tower crane planning, PM Hoist Planning, etc.
- Generate Executive Report for the management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in architectural coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
