Job summary

WSP in Asia is seeking a Senior Architect to lead architectural design solutions from concept through to tender and delivery. You will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure high-quality, compliant and sustainable designs while providing technical leadership to projects.

You will guide teams, oversee design development, manage submissions to authorities, and contribute to bidding and presentations, leveraging your knowledge of local regulations and industry best

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture recognised by the Board of Architects, Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural experience, preferably in industrial, mission critical, transport and infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings, construction practices and sustainability design.
• Conversant with local codes & regulations; ability to lead a team and effective communication.
• Able to use generative AI for architectural design; 3D rendering or video creation is a plus point.

Purpose/Summary

The Senior Architect is responsible for leading and delivering architectural design solutions from concept and feasibility through to tender and project delivery. The role works closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure high-quality, compliant and sustainable designs, while providing technical and design leadership to support the successful delivery of projects.

Location: Singapore

Reports To: Division Head

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizes concept and schematic designs
• Execute feasibility studies and presents design proposals
• Preparation of tender documentation, schedules and specifications
• Liaises and discuss project-relevant issues with clients
• Liaises and coordinates with consultants and contractors
• Ensures design quality and authority compliance
• Assist projects bidding and presentation whenever required

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, preferably recognised by the Board of Architects, Singapore
• Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural experience, preferred in industrial, mission critical, transport and infrastructure projects
• Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings, construction practices and sustainability design.

• Competency in authority requirements and submission procedures
