Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 6+ years in application security or software development; 10+ preferred.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software development principles.
• Proficiency in mainstream web app development; Java stack preferred.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
• Experience with penetration testing basics and security testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure application architectures with authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Develop and maintain secure coding guidelines and standards.
• Conduct security risk reviews for new products and features.
• Implement security controls and countermeasures for identified risks.
• Carry out regular security audits or penetration testing.
• Ensure compliance with OWASP and relevant standards.
• Keep up-to-date with security threats and industry trends.
• Perform pre-research to support product security in business areas.
• Identify risk baselines across products and security solutions.
• Communicate risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor teams on secure coding practices.
