Responsibilities
- Define and document equipment process requirements and specifications.
- Perform process characterization and optimize machine performance to meet equipment specifications.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to review and streamline internal buy-off specifications.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance equipment capabilities.
- Support equipment manufacturing and assembly teams by troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues.
- Work with customers and internal teams to resolve process-related challenges and recommend technical solutions.
- Conduct data analysis using statistical tools (SPC, DOE, etc.) and perform process capability studies.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to in‑house engineers/technicians to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Calculate UPH (units per hour) projections based on process parameters.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements
- At least a Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
- 3 years' experience in an equipment manufacturing environment (semiconductor machinery preferred).
- Strong knowledge in process design, control, and optimization (die-sorting, vision inspection, or laser marking experience is an advantage).
- Familiarity with SPC, DOE, and other statistical analysis tools.
- Knowledge in cycle time calculation and material science will be an added advantage.
- Strong interest in developing new manufacturing processes and equipment applications
