What you’ll do

A Senior Application Consultant will play a crucial role in the Mambu Delivery Team which is part of the Customer Success Services organisation. As an expert on financial products and business processes, you will help lead the implementation of Mambu by translating the customer’s vision into the Mambu platform. You will have an opportunity to learn the Mambu platform inside-out, understand how Mambu is impacting the lives of the end customer and understand the evolution of compostable architecture. You will be looked upon as the expert in your field and will be a key influencer in driving the adoption of Mambu.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Work as part of the team to implement and support the Mambu platform with digital lenders, startups, micro-finance organisations and new business units of traditional banks.
  2. Work closely with customers to understand their business processes, requirements, and objectives. Conduct needs assessments and gather detailed requirements to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs.
  3. Challenge and influence the customer to adopt Mambu best practices that align with the customer’s business objectives.
  4. Strive to find the WHY behind customer requirements and have the ability to guide the customer to create scalable solutions even if it differs from what they currently have implemented.
  5. Be able to provide comprehensive tailored workshops that range from requirements gathering sessions to providing how those requirements will translate into the Mambu Platform. These can be both on functionality or how customers can interact with our APIs.
  6. Support the customer team with the setup, configuration, testing, and deployment of Mambu applications. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and data.
  7. Provide comprehensive training to customers on functionalities and best practices of the Mambu application. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure client satisfaction.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, solution engineering, and customer success, to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure customer success.
What you’ll bring
  1. You have deep knowledge of consumer and/or business lending and deposit products and operations, acquired through experience in the banking or FinTech industry. Knowledge of payment processing would be a plus.
  2. You have a consultative mindset of listening, understanding and anticipating customer needs.
  3. Experience in enterprise/financial technology sales, implementation, servicing and support.
  4. Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  5. Proven ability to produce deliverables that cater to various audiences ranging from Executives to Engineers.
  6. Excellent stakeholder management across hierarchies.
  7. Experience working with enterprise level customers.
  8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in delivering presentations and training sessions.
