ENGIE ENERGY MARKETING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior lawyer to support APAC trading activities, with a focus on India. The role covers ISDA negotiations, regulatory risk management, and advisory services for energy commodities and green products.
You will work closely with front-office and internal stakeholders across APAC, travel to India offices as required, and supervise external counsel to ensure compliant deal execution and robust governance.
Formación
- Qualified lawyer in India with PQE in commodities trading or energy contracts.
- Strong understanding of APAC regulatory frameworks and risk management.
- Experience with ISDA Master Agreements and derivatives is preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Develop legal strategies to support India and APAC trading objectives.
- Provide legal advice for license applications and target setup.
- Draft, review, and negotiate master and bespoke energy contracts.
- Advise on regulatory compliance and risk management in day-to-day trading.
- Coordinate with front-office to align legal support with business goals.
- Manage external counsel and review ongoing advisories and opinions.
- Monitor APAC regulations and provide training to GEMS colleagues.
- Support corporate secretarial work for India entity when needed.
